This Teaninich single malt was distilled in 2010 and matured for fifteen years in refill barrel #694. The whisky from the single cask was bottled in 2025 for The Single Malts of Scotland at 57%, yielding 255 bottles. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Green apple, ripe pear, pale malt and vanilla open this elegant Highland profile. Citrus, caramel and crisp apple bring freshness, followed by a dry finish of delicate oak spice and citrus.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in 1817, Teaninich Distillery in the Highlands produced this single malt. Since 2000, the distillery has used a hammer mill and mash filter instead of a traditional mash tun. This produces particularly clear wort, contributing to the distillery’s fragrant character, while broad stills promote an oily texture.

The Single Malts of Scotland is a range from Elixir Distillers. Since 2002, individual Scottish casks have been selected for the range according to their distinctive character. Only casks that meet its quality standards are released as limited bottlings that are unlikely to be replicated.
