This travel-retail edition combines 13 years of maturation in Bourbon Barrels and Oloroso sherry casks with a 1-litre bottle intended for the travel market. Introduced in April 2025, it is bottled at 43%. The Double Cask brings together baked apples and pears, tropical nuances, chocolate, dried fruit and delicate spice.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Baked apples and pears meet caramel sauce with cloves. Coconut and guava add tropical accents.
• Palate: On the palate, chocolatey granola, yoghurt-coated dried cranberries and sultanas combine with a hint of cinnamon. The whisky feels full-bodied and smooth.
• Finish: The long, soft finish combines honeyed sweetness with fruity, spicy sherry notes. A sweet malt note lingers.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Tomatin Spey District Distillery was registered on 8 June 1897. Following its closure in 1906, the distillery resumed operations in 1909. Subsequent expansion brought its total number of stills to 23 by 1974. In 2002, Tomatin removed unused stills, reducing their number to twelve. This accompanied a shift away from large-scale production for blended Scotch towards its own Single Malt range.

The Tomatin Distillery Co. Ltd. is the company behind the Tomatin brand and this official bottling. Tomatin's characteristic style is light, soft and fruity. With the 13-year-old Double Cask, the distillery adds a combination of Bourbon and Oloroso sherry cask maturation to its international travel-retail range.
