Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Vanilla cream and floral notes mingle with freshly sliced apples on the nose.
• Palate: Rich vanilla fudge appears on the palate, accompanied by sweet floral and grassy notes.
• Finish: The rich finish coats the mouth before giving way to refreshing citrus notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

Situated on the river of the same name, Bladnoch is Scotland’s southernmost whisky distillery. Its history began in 1817, when brothers John and Thomas McClelland obtained a distilling licence for their Lowland farm. Bladnoch uses water from the river and malt from British producers to make its whisky.

Australian entrepreneur David Prior acquired the distillery in 2015 and began an extensive renewal programme. Following two years of renovation under Master Distiller Ian MacMillan, production resumed in 2017. Dr Nick Savage joined the team as Master Distiller in 2019. Within the range, the Bold Collection offers approachable whiskies with lively flavours.
