Voll auf die Nuss combines natural hazelnut flavours with St. Kilian's mild Single Malt Spirit. The spirit is distilled twice from pure barley malt in Scottish pot stills before being flavoured. The liqueur has an alcohol content of 21% and a reddish amber colour.

The gift set contains a 0.7-litre bottle and a limited-edition Ritzenhoff collector's glass featuring a Terence Hill design. Introduced in 2022, the liqueur takes its name from the physical confrontations in the actor's films.

This hazelnut liqueur can be enjoyed neat, over ice or as an ingredient in drinks. It should be stored in a cool, dark place and consumed within six months of opening.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense roasted hazelnut aromas lead the nose, accompanied by a gentle sweetness, marzipan and Bourbon vanilla.
• Palate: Roasted hazelnuts combine with a rich sweetness and a soft mouthfeel on the palate. Creamy vanilla and caramel complement the nutty flavour, while marzipan and a little cocoa add subtle accents.
• Finish: The hazelnut flavours linger for a long time. The finish is velvety and gently sweet, with cocoa and coffee adding a subtle dryness.

Distillery/Bottler:

St. Kilian Distillers is based in Rüdenau near Miltenberg am Main, in the Odenwald region of Lower Franconia. Andreas Thümmler founded the company in 2012. He developed the distillery project together with Irish whisky expert David F. Hynes; production began in 2016 after four years of construction. Two copper pot stills from Forsyth form the heart of the distillery. In May 2019, the team presented First Kilian, its first three-year-old single malt whisky.

Alongside whisky, St. Kilian also uses its malt spirit to make liqueurs. Its film-hero ranges grew out of a licensing partnership with Bavaria Sonor Licensing that began in 2020. The first Bud Spencer products were followed by the Terence Hill whiskies in 2021, then by Voll auf die Nuss hazelnut liqueur in spring 2022.
