Its character rests on the contrast between syrupy richness and a dry taste. Fruit and spice are accompanied by distinctive fermented dunder notes. The rum suits both drinking neat and cocktails that showcase its fruit and spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Berry Bros. & Rudd traces its origins to a London grocery shop opened by the widow Bourne opposite St James’s Palace in 1698. The business developed into a wine and spirits merchant that remains family-run and continues to operate at No.3 St James’s Street. The coffee mill, its historic shop sign, still recalls those early trading years.

For the Classic Range, spirits buyer Doug McIvor assembled a selection that conveys the characteristic features of different spirits. Berry Bros. & Rudd acts as the independent bottler of this Jamaican rum.
