Special Features:

This bottling combines 18 years of maturation in hogsheads with a robust bottling strength of 52%. The whisky was distilled in 2006 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 28 October 2024. No colouring was added, and it was not chill-filtered.

As part of The Decanter Collection, the single malt is presented in an Ibisco decanter and tube. Green apple, pear and citrus open the fruity profile, accompanied by vanilla and toasted malt. Pineapple, nectarine, pepper, salty heather and delicate smoke lead into a long, oily finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals distinct notes of green apple and ripe pear, complemented by vibrant citrus, gentle vanilla and a hint of toasted malt.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied on the palate. Grilled pineapple, honey and sweet nectarine meet green pepper, salty heather and a subtle note of smoked ham.
• Finish: The long, velvety finish remains oily, combining delicate smoke with peppery spice, dry heather and restrained oak notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Highland Park Distillery is located near Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. During malting, some of the barley is dried over peat smoke, which gives the whisky its delicate smoky notes.

Signatory Vintage bottled this Highland Park as an independent bottler. Andrew Symington and his brother founded the company in Edinburgh in 1988. After acquiring the Edradour Distillery in 2002, Signatory had relocated entirely to its site in Pitlochry by 2007; warehouses capable of holding more than 20,000 casks were later built there.
