The Caol Ila 2015/2024 was refined by James Eadie as a single cask bottling and combines the typical peaty, maritime character of the Islay distillery with the complex aromas of a first-fill Amontillado hogshead finish . Maturation in this special sherry cask gives the whisky additional depth; the dry nuttiness of the Amontillado harmonizes perfectly with the smoky intensity of Caol Ila.
