Special features: This limited single malt whisky from the renowned Mars Shinshu Distillery in Japan masterfully combines the art of whisky production with the brewing craft of the neighboring Minami Shinshu Brewery. After aging in American oak barrels, the whisky receives a unique finish in IPA beer barrels, giving it a distinctive depth and complexity.

Distillery/Bottler: The Mars Shinshu Distillery, founded in 1985 by Hombo Shuzo, is located in the heart of the Japanese Alps in Nagano. Known for its high altitude of 800 meters above sea level, the distillery utilizes the pure mountain air and crystal-clear water of the region for the production of its whiskies. The proximity to the Minami Shinshu Brewery allows for a unique collaboration, where used IPA beer barrels are used for the secondary maturation of the whisky.
