Special Features:

Tenjaku Pure Malt combines mature malt whiskies of different ages. Five- and six-year-old whiskies make up the largest share; individual components matured for up to six years. The heavily used Kentucky bourbon casks allow the character of the malts to come through. The whisky is offered at 43% in a 0.7-litre bottle with gift packaging.

Nuts and green apple lead the aroma, accompanied by fresh herbs and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate, a distinct alcoholic presence meets a smooth texture. The finish brings together vanilla and restrained wood notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

Minami Alps Wine and Beverage Co., Ltd. is behind Tenjaku Pure Malt. Founded in Yamanashi Prefecture in 2012, the company established a facility in Fuefuki that same year. It is wholly owned by Tokuoka Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1874. Kenji Watanabe blends the mature malt whiskies for Tenjaku Pure Malt. Its production includes double distillation in copper pot stills and water from the Misaka Mountains.
