Special Features:

KISS Black Diamond brings together rums aged in casks for different lengths of time to create a smooth blend. The rums come from the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Guyana and Guatemala and were aged for three to fifteen years. The rum is bottled at 40% in a 0.5-litre bottle.

The rum takes its name from the closing track on KISS’s self-titled debut album from 1974. Its design also connects it to the music: the label draws on the stage costumes and make-up from the band’s early years. Enjoy it neat or with a large ice cube.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Oak leads on the nose, accompanied by dried fruit, butterscotch, vanilla, orange peel and nuts, along with notes reminiscent of arrack.
• Palate: On the palate, pronounced oak character combines with restrained sweetness. Dried apricots and dates meet nuts, vanilla, vanilla fudge, cinnamon and chocolate. Hints of arrack also emerge.
• Finish: The finish is rounded and gently spicy.

Distillery/Bottler:

Sweden’s Brands For Fans is behind the collaboration with KISS. Operating since 2012, the company works with bands and drinks producers to develop alcoholic drinks that bring music and enjoyment together. Alongside KISS, its portfolio includes collaborations with Ghost, Motörhead and HammerFall. Brands For Fans has been part of the UMIDA Group since January 2018.
