This miniature contains 0.05 litres of Nc'nean's organic single malt at a cask strength of 59.5%. The non-smoky whisky is made from 100% organically grown Scottish barley and is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

For maturation, Nc'nean combines 55% STR red wine casks, 43% ex-American whiskey casks and 2% Oloroso sherry casks. This cask composition shapes a fruity, floral style in which apricot, peach, citrus and herbs meet salted caramel, rye bread, white pepper, sandalwood, nutmeg and oak.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, pronounced floral notes and delicate herbs mingle with apricot, peach and a little citrus, while sandalwood and a hint of nutmeg add spicy, woody accents.
• Palate: On the palate, sweet, vibrant fruit notes are enveloped by salted caramel, while rye bread, freshly ground white pepper and oak contribute spice.
• Finish: In the long, oily finish, apple and peach gradually fade as the tingling spice lingers.

Distillery/Bottler:

Nc'nean Distillery produces this organic single malt in Drimnin on the Morvern Peninsula, on Scotland's west coast, and bottles it under its own brand. Annabel Thomas began developing the distillery in 2013, and whisky has been distilled there since 2017.

The distillery works exclusively with unpeated organic barley from Scotland. Long mashing and fermentation times, two yeast strains used to create the house style, and a narrowly selected middle cut support the fruity character of the new make spirit. The copper stills run on renewable energy, and Nc'nean uses entirely recycled glass for its whisky bottles.
