For Jägermeister Manifest, herbal extraction and oak-cask maturation are both part of the production process. The aromas are extracted in five stages rather than four, and maturation takes place in both small and large oak casks. Matured wheat distillate and an expanded selection of botanical ingredients complement the composition. Production also includes blending the components and filtration.

Alongside its herbal and woody character, vanilla, cardamom and saffron provide distinctive accents. Manifest can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails. This bottling contains 38% alcohol and comes in a 0.5-litre bottle.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh wood notes take the lead on the nose, accompanied by layered herbal aromas with hints of anise and fruit.
• Palate: Herbs and oak come together on the palate. Sweetish anise and dried fruit appear first, followed by light spice and bitterness. Finally, vanilla shapes the woody notes.
• Finish: The long finish is gently spicy and fades with a dry wood note. A hint of oak and a pleasant bitterness linger.

Distillery/Bottler:

Jägermeister is produced by Mast-Jägermeister SE, based in Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony. The company's history began in 1878, when Wilhelm Mast founded a vinegar factory there. His son Curt developed a particular talent for making and blending herbal extracts. After years of experimentation, he arrived at the Jägermeister recipe in 1934, setting the company on a new course.

The original Jägermeister combines 56 herbs, flowers, roots and fruits and matures in oak casks. Manifest builds on this foundation but broadens the botanical ingredients and changes the extraction and maturation processes. The herbal liqueur thus remains the starting point, while a distinct recipe and approach to cask maturation shape Manifest's character.
