Oak-cask ageing adds subtle vanilla, wood and sugar notes to the orange character of Old St. Croix Orange Grove. The liqueur is silky and rounded, with gentle acidity and warm spice notes balancing its sweetness. It is bottled at 40% alcohol.

The name recalls the historic Orange Grove area on St. Croix, where orange groves stood alongside sugar cane fields. The oranges used for the liqueur come from the Caribbean and Central America. The bottling thus draws on the island's history of orange cultivation without relying exclusively on fruit from St. Croix.

Orange Grove can be enjoyed neat or over ice. In a Margarita, Cosmopolitan or Mai Tai, it provides the fruity sweetness of an orange liqueur.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The aroma opens with dried orange and apricot. A light, fresh note of green mint then emerges.
• Palate: On the palate, the liqueur evokes spiced fruit sweets, with concentrated orange and mandarin. These are followed by nuances of lightly toasted brown sugar, with a hint of toasted wood appearing last.
• Finish: Green mint emerges in the finish, accompanied by a hint of dried orange. Tropical fruit notes round out the finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

The history of Old St. Croix begins with Danish pharmacist Albert Heinrich Riise, who opened his pharmacy on St. Thomas in 1838. There, he used alcohol made from local sugar cane to produce medicinal preparations and also developed rum. The Old St. Croix brand name was later created for the rum's international distribution. In 1893, the brand received a gold medal at the World's Fair in Chicago. This historic name returned when A.H. Riise was renamed in 2025.

Orange Grove is the brand's first orange liqueur. It complements its sweet, full-bodied sugar cane spirits with a lighter, fresher fruit style. A master distiller with decades of experience is responsible for maintaining the liqueur's consistent flavour profile.
