Special Features:

Real Bourbon vanilla from pods defines this version of Prinz egg liqueur. Hay milk and eggs from local farmers form its base, and the liqueur is stirred by hand. The vanilla complements the creamy base and gives the recipe its distinctive flavour. The 0.5-litre bottle contains egg liqueur with 15% alcohol.

For drinking neat, a serving temperature of 10 to 12 °C is recommended. The egg liqueur can also be served warm or used in desserts, for example poured over ice cream.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The aroma is distinctly vanilla-led and creamy. Despite its intensity, the Bourbon vanilla remains pleasant rather than overpowering.
• Palate: On the palate, a soft, creamy texture combines with balanced sweetness. Milk and eggs are clearly discernible, complemented by the aromatic depth of Bourbon vanilla.
• Finish: The vanilla fades slowly and gently. The long finish leaves a creamy mouthfeel.

Distillery/Bottler:

Fein-Brennerei Prinz is a family business in Hörbranz on the Austrian shores of Lake Constance. Its history dates back to 1886. A farm with an inn developed into a cooperage and cider-making operation, and eventually into today's distillery, now run by the fourth generation of the family.

Prinz operates its own liqueur kitchen to make its egg liqueurs. Here, the ingredients are prepared according to a family recipe passed down through the generations. Hay milk from the Alpine region, local eggs and a distillate matched to the recipe form the basis of this product family. Alongside the classic egg liqueur, Prinz makes vanilla, orange and mocha versions.
