Slyrs Whiskey Liqueur / Vanilla and Honey without GP 0.5L

Volume: 0.5 litres | Alcohol content: 30% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

For SLYRS Vanilla & Honey, vanilla extracts and honey are added to the single malt only after its cask maturation. The liqueur thus combines its whisky base with a distinctly sweet vanilla-and-honey character. It has a light amber colour in the glass. This bottling contains 0.5 litres at 30% alcohol and comes without gift packaging.

The liqueur can be enjoyed neat or served with coffee and desserts. It also works well in cocktails and milkshakes. The recommended serving temperature is 16 to 18 °C; the bottle should be stored upright and away from light.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, the aromas of SLYRS Single Malt mingle with sweet honey and a touch of spice.
• Palate: The palate combines pleasant honey sweetness with a pronounced vanilla flavour.
• Finish: Vanilla lingers on the finish, accompanied by a delicate caramel note.

Distillery/Bottler:

The SLYRS distillery is located in Neuhaus on Lake Schliersee in Upper Bavaria. Its inspiration came from a trip to Scotland by brewer and master distiller Florian Stetter in 1994: visits to Speyside distilleries gave him the idea of making single malt in his home region. The first SLYRS whisky was distilled in 1999, and the first 1,600 bottles went on sale in 2002. Following the founding of SLYRS KG in 2004, the company built its own whisky distillery in Neuhaus in 2007.
