This single malt whisky is made 100% from the distillery's own barley, distilled and matured on-site. The maturation takes place in a combination of ex-peated refill bourbon barrels and red wine casks, resulting in a balanced interplay of fruity and smoky aromas. This bottling is based on the popular Ploughing Edition and is now available year-round.

Distillery/Bottler: The Lochlea Distillery is an independent farm distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. The region became known through the Scottish national poet Robert Burns, who lived on the Lochlea farm from 1777 to 1784. Under the leadership of John Campbell, who previously worked at Laphroaig for 27 years, the distillery produces single malt whiskies that stand out for their elegance and fruitiness.
