With this Cameronbridge, Signatory Vintage launched its 100 Proof Grain Edition in 2025. Distilled in 2012, the single grain matured for twelve years entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. Edition #1 was bottled at 57.1% alcohol, without added colouring or chill filtration.

The first-fill bourbon barrels shape its creamy character, bringing vanilla, caramel and coconut. Honeyed cereal and buttery toffee add sweetness, while dried stone fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg and gentle oak lend fruity and spicy accents. Vanilla and toasted almond linger in the warm finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, vanilla pod, caramel and coconut mingle with honeyed cereal and gently spiced oak.
• Palate: The whisky feels creamy and soft on the palate. Buttery toffee and vanilla custard meet dried stone fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg.
• Finish: The long, warm finish leaves lingering notes of sweet vanilla, toasted almond and gently spiced oak.

Distillery/Bottler:

Cameronbridge is in Fife, Scotland, and is Diageo’s largest distilling site. The distillery supplies single grain whisky for Scotch brands such as Johnnie Walker. This Cameronbridge was distilled in continuously operating Coffey stills; Signatory Vintage selected the first-fill bourbon barrels for the bottling.

Andrew Symington founded the independent bottler Signatory Vintage with his brother in 1988. Following the acquisition of Edradour and the move to Pitlochry, its cask storage and bottling operations have been based there. With Edition #1, Signatory extended its 100 Proof range to single grain whisky.
