Limited to 285 bottles, this single-cask release from Cask Series 025 matured for six years in an STR red wine barrique. The Highland single malt was distilled in September 2018; North Star Spirits bottled it in February 2025 at 59.1% in 285 bottles of 0.7 litres each. The whisky was neither coloured nor chill-filtered.
The wider aromatic spectrum includes peanut brittle, plums, cinnamon pastries and fresh toffee.

Nc'nean was founded by Annabel Thomas in 2017 and is located on the Drimnin Estate on the Morvern Peninsula on Scotland's west coast. Production is entirely organic, the stills are powered by renewable energy, and long mashing and fermentation times are integral to the distillery's methods.
North Star Spirits bottled this whisky. The family-run independent bottler from Glasgow was founded by Iain Croucher in 2016 and focuses on selecting and bottling Scotch whiskies.
