Nc'nean proves that dreams can become reality. The dreamer is called Annabel Thomas, her dream: a modern , sustainable whisky distillery in Scotland . The distillery has been running on the coast of the Morvern Peninsula since 2017 – The current batches of the organic certified Nc ' nean Whisky is of course available at bringts.ch . The whisky is made from organically grown Scottish barley in a distillery that runs on 100 percent renewable energy . It is bottled in the Britain's first fully recycled clear glass bottle . "Made by nature, not by rules" is the motto of one of the few women-run whisky distilleries in the world, which is becoming a pioneer in the spirits industry with this uncompromising focus on sustainability.
Nc'nean Organic Single Malt not only responds to the increased interest in sustainable production . With its aromas of citrus fruits, peach, apricot and spices, the soft, uncomplicated whisky appeals to experienced connoisseurs and whisky explorers alike. The whisky gets its characteristic body and sweetness from three years of maturation in selected ex-bourbon casks and STR ex-wine barrels that have previously been planed, burned out and re-charred (STR = "scraped" or "shaved", "toasted", "recharred").
