Special Features:

Yellow Squirrel combines Scotch whisky with natural peanut flavouring. Made in Germany, this liqueur explores the contrast between whisky and sweet peanut butter flavour. It contains 30% alcohol and comes in a 0.5-litre bottle.

In the glass, the liqueur has a light caramel-brown colour. Alongside its nutty character, it offers a light caramel note. It can be served neat or over ice, or used to add a peanut butter accent to variations on an Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

The bottle design adopts a modern vintage style. Kirsch Import developed it together with the French design agency Appartement 103.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A pronounced peanut butter aroma leads the nose. Vanilla and roasted nuts accompany it, with just a light hint of malt.
• Palate: The liqueur is smooth and full-bodied on the palate. Nutty sweetness and toffee meet a light salty note and the taste of whisky. A gentle warmth accompanies these flavours.
• Finish: The finish is creamy, combining sweetness with spice. Nutty flavours and a warming sensation linger.

Distillery/Bottler:

Yellow Squirrel is the creation of Kirsch Import, a family business based in Stuhr near Bremen. Christoph Kirsch leads the company, which specialises in premium spirits, in its second generation of family ownership. Its range includes an extensive single malt portfolio. Kirsch Import drew on this whisky expertise to develop Yellow Squirrel as a liqueur for drinking neat and mixing in cocktails. The brand was introduced in April 2025.
