Special Features:

The rye for Belvedere 10 comes from a single harvest and a single field on an estate in northeastern Poland. It uses organically grown Dankowski Diamond Rye. The edition draws on the production method from 1910, the year the distillery was founded, and adapts it with a revised recipe.

The vodka is distilled four times. After the spirit is blended with water and filtered through activated charcoal, it rests for exactly ten months. During this period, the water and spirit integrate to develop its velvety mouthfeel. The white bottle presented here contains 0.2 litres at 40% alcohol.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, coconut, cocoa and vanilla mingle with a hint of fresh lemon.
• Palate: On the palate, the rich, creamy mouthfeel gives way to a gentle honey sweetness. Caramel and green coffee add further accents.
• Finish: The soft finish leaves lingering notes of nutty praline and intense dark cocoa.

Distillery/Bottler:

Belvedere is produced at the Polmos Żyrardów distillery west of Warsaw. Built in 1910, the building survived two world wars and a fire. Belvedere was developed here in 1993, followed by its launch in the US market in 1996.

To make Belvedere 10, the milled rye is processed into a fermentable mash under controlled heating. Selected yeasts carry out fermentation before multi-stage distillation further refines the spirit. The final distillation reaches 96.5% alcohol; only then do blending with water, filtration and the resting period follow.
