Special features: The Fanø Skibsrom - Søhesten is produced in Denmark by Fanø Spirits. Initially, the rum is distilled in Jamaica and then refined on the Danish island of Fanø. The refinement includes a two-stage aging process in port wine barrels, after the rum has been aged with natural flavorings such as Fanø heather honey, sea buckthorn, and Madagascar vanilla. It is bottled in a gift package and has an alcohol content of 41.5%.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: The aroma presents itself intensely and multilayered with notes of heather jam and citrus, accompanied by a fruity-sweet character.
