After distillation at Worthy Park Estate, T.Sonthi Jamaica XO matures for fifteen years in Jamaica. It then undergoes a finish in former port wine casks in Germany.

Passion fruit, banana and pineapple shape the rum's character alongside a subtle cask note. It is bottled at 43.4% without added colouring.

Distillery/Bottler:

Thomas Sontheimer is the person behind T.Sonthi. Jamaica XO comes from the Jamaican distillery Worthy Park Estate and receives a port wine cask finish in Germany after its maturation in Jamaica.

Worthy Park Estate is located in Lluidas Vale in the Jamaican parish of Saint Catherine. The estate has its own sugar mill, which supplies molasses for rum production. Its distillery, newly built in 2005, uses a double-retort pot still built by Forsyths in Scotland. These additional distillation vessels form part of traditional Caribbean distilling technology.
