The molasses rum first matured in Trinidad's tropical climate. On the European continent, it then spent the majority of its maturation period in bourbon barrels and was refined for twelve months in Oloroso sherry casks.
Despite its cask strength of 53.4% ABV, the Single Domaine Rum surprises with a sweet aroma, infused with dried fruits and the fresh, mineral characteristics of grass and watercress. It coats the palate with creamy dark fruit notes before fading to caramel, orange, and peppery notes.
