Special Features: The Stauning Dirty Bastard is part of the innovative Research Series from the renowned Stauning Whisky Distillery on the west coast of Denmark. This single rye whisky underwent a three-stage maturation process: First, it matured for three to four years in American virgin oak barrels before being finished in mezcal and tequila casks. Finally, it received a refinement finish in stout barrels from the Danish craft breweries To ØI and Fanø Bryghus. The limited edition is limited to 6,530 bottles and features an artistically designed label by tattoo artist Thit Hansgaard, depicting a Xoloitzcuintli, the hairless Mexican dog.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Grain notes paired with cinnamon, cocoa, and tobacco.
• Palate: Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts, a subtle chili spiciness, as well as hints of dark beer, hops, and roasted malt.
• Finish: Long-lasting with vanilla, dark hops, and malt.
