Stork Club Peanutz - Rye Whiskey with Peanut Butter
Special Features: The Stork Club Peanutz edition is a limited special release created using the innovative method of "Fat Washing." In collaboration with Corby Lovell, founder of Twisted Nut, a specially developed dark roast peanut butter was combined with Stork Club Straight Rye Whiskey. After 24 hours, the mixture was cooled, allowing the peanut butter to solidify and separate from the whiskey. Through multiple filtrations, a nearly clear spirit with an alcohol content of 45% was created.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Intense aromas of roasted peanuts, accompanied by a hint of caramel and a light salty note.
Palate: Creamy and full-bodied, with a balanced combination of nutty and sweet flavor notes reminiscent of crème brûlée.
Finish: Silky and long-lasting, with the nutty flavors gently fading away.
Distillery/Bottler: Spreewood Distillers GmbH, located in Schlepzig, Brandenburg, is known for its high-quality rye whiskeys. Founded by Steffen Lohr, Sebastian Brack, and Bastian Heuser, the distillery was taken over and modernized in 2017.
