Maturation in selected American oak casks shapes this twelve-year-old Speyside single malt. The whisky spends at least twelve years in wood, combining rounded sweetness with spicy accents. It is bottled at 40% in a 0.7-litre bottle and comes in a presentation tube.

Fruity notes of pears and oranges meet vanilla, honey and oak. Barley notes also contribute to the soft, creamy flavour profile.

• Nose: Ripe pears and oranges lead on the nose. Behind them, vanilla and oak emerge with sweet and spicy hints.
• Palate: On the palate, vanilla and honey combine with delicate spice notes and oak.

Glen Kirk is a whisky brand owned by Angus Dundee; the bottling bears the name Charles Hamilton Ltd. The brand name combines the Scottish words glen, meaning valley, and kirk, meaning church, evoking the churches in the valleys of the Highlands.

Founded in 1950, Angus Dundee operates the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries in Scotland. The company holds whiskies from various distilleries and of different ages in its maturation warehouses, and develops bottlings for other clients alongside its own brands.
