Special Features: This limited release from Wolfburn combines the tradition of Scottish whisky production with the refined influence of cognac casks. The 8-year maturation in carefully selected cognac casks gives this whisky a remarkable complexity and depth that appeals to both connoisseurs and newcomers. The casks made from the finest French Limousin oak, known for their excellent maturation properties, were previously used for fine cognac and have imparted subtle sweetness and complex aromas to the whisky.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of dried fruits, sweet port wine notes, vanilla, a hint of coffee, and dark chocolate.
• Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, with a harmonious interplay of dried apricots, almonds, vanilla, and subtle warming spice notes. After a while in the glass, hints of barley sugar and delicate dark chocolate emerge.
• Finish: Long and warming, with a lingering aftertaste of vanilla, autumn fruits, caramel, and a fine sea salt note.
