Special features: This 16-year-old single malt whisky from the Knockdhu Distillery, bottled by Signatory Vintage, matured for over 16 years in a second-fill Oloroso sherry butt and was bottled at cask strength. The bottling was done without chill filtration and without coloring, preserving the authentic character of the whisky. With a limited edition of 677 bottles, this release offers a rare insight into the quality and depth of Knockdhu whisky.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of dried fruits, particularly raisins and figs, blend with spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves. A hint of oak and a subtle touch of nuts round off the bouquet.
• Palate: Full-bodied and complex, the whisky presents a harmonious balance between sweet fruit notes and spicy accents. The oak adds depth, while a hint of chocolate and caramel provides additional fascination.
• Finish: Long and warming, with lingering aromas of dried fruits and a fine spiciness that slowly fades and pleasantly envelops the palate.

Distillery/Bottler: The Knockdhu Distillery, founded in 1894 by John Morrison, is located in the Scottish Highlands and is known for its characteristic single malt whisky marketed under the name anCnoc. Since 1988, it has been owned by Inver House Distillers, producing approximately 992,000 liters of whisky annually. Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler based in Pitlochry, Scotland, is known for its Cask Strength Collection, where selected casks are bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration and without coloring.
