Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is rich and concentrated with raisins, figs, and dark cherries, followed by plum compote and candied orange peel. Additionally, walnuts, cocoa powder, as well as hints of leather and tobacco leaf are noticeable, complemented by cinnamon and cloves, along with a subtle, polished wood note.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is full and oily with a strong entry at cask strength. Dark dried fruits and chocolate dominate, followed by nutty depth and a slight, espresso-like bitterness. The mid-palate shows grip from baking spices, black pepper, and a bittersweet orange note, while the malty core of Glen Ord carries it.
• Finish: The finish is long and slowly becomes dry with lingering sherry notes, cocoa, and nuts. Towards the end, tea-like tannins and bittersweet citrus peels become noticeable, supported by a warm, spicy aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glen Ord whisky is produced at the Glen Ord Distillery in the Scottish Highlands and bottled by Signatory Vintage.
