Special features: This single malt comes from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, the first legal distillery on the small Hebridean island of the same name. The whisky matured for five years in a so-called "First Fill Rye Whiskey Cask," a new cask type for Scotland, originally from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Kentucky. This single cask is part of the "Na Sia" series, which releases the six individual components of the complex Raasay recipe separately – a fascinating insight into the ongoing development of this young distillery.
