Special Features:

Ledaig 10 Year Old combines bourbon cask maturation with the peated style of Tobermory Distillery. Part of the distillery's core range, it balances smoky, maritime impressions with a sweet, malty side.

The miniature contains 0.05 litres of the ten-year-old single malt at 46.3% alcohol. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines sweetish smoke with salty coastal notes. Subtle medicinal and tarry notes mingle with wax polish, mint chocolate and floral impressions. Peat and smoke are gentle at this stage.
• Palate: Rich peat smoke meets sweet, medicinal notes on the palate. Pepper and dried fruit complement the velvety creaminess of vanilla and malt.
• Finish: White pepper and cloves meet the sweetness of liquorice on the finish. A salty note lingers.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in 1798, Tobermory Distillery stands in the harbour town of Tobermory on Mull, an island in Scotland's Hebrides. It draws its water from the nearby Gearr Abhainn stream. Two distinct whisky styles are produced under one roof: Tobermory uses unpeated malt, while Ledaig represents the distillery's peated side.

Between 2017 and 2019, the distillery underwent extensive renovation and modernisation with a focus on sustainability and efficiency. It continues to produce in small batches. Master Blender Julieann Fernandez oversees the flavour development of both whisky ranges.
