Tobermory 12 Year Old combines maturation in American oak with the distillery's fruity, unpeated style. It matures mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with a small proportion finished in new oak, known as Virgin Oak. The miniature contains 0.05 litres of this twelve-year-old single malt Scotch whisky.

Fruit, creamy sweetness and spice define its character, complemented by a subtle salty note. The whisky is bottled at 46.3% without added colouring or chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is distinctly fruity, with orange and other citrus notes. Fresh floral nuances accompany pronounced oak, vanilla and spice.
• Palate: On the palate, sweet orange and citrus fruit combine with creamy caramel and pronounced vanilla. Subtle hints of cinnamon and clove complement the sweetness.
• Finish: Vanilla and spice linger throughout the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in 1798, Tobermory Distillery stands by the harbour of its namesake town on Scotland's Isle of Mull. It draws its water from nearby Gearr Abhainn. Two distinct whisky styles are produced under one roof: the unpeated, fruit-forward Tobermory and the intensely smoky Ledaig, made from peated malt.

Between 2017 and 2019, the distillery underwent extensive renovation and modernisation to improve sustainability and efficiency. The introduction of the twelve-year-old Tobermory in 2019 accompanied its reopening. The whisky in this miniature is distilled, matured and bottled in Scotland by Tobermory Distillers Limited.
