Single Casks for Kirsch customers from The Single Malts of Scotland
Unearthing premium casks of Scottish whisky has always been the focus of Elixir Distillers. Since 2002, the independent bottler has been releasing these under the name The Single Malts of Scotland. The range consists of outstanding, unadulterated vintage malts from all Scottish whisky regions. Four single-cask bottlings from the series are now being released exclusively for Kirsch Import customers.
Only about two percent of this distillery's single malts are marketed as such: The Dailuaine 2012/2024 is a rare example of the rich, sweet and spicy whiskies from Speyside. Those looking to explore more typical characteristics of the region should try the fruity, light, and smooth Tormore 2005/2024.
Peat lovers will find what they are looking for with two island-based single casks – in the case of the An Orkney Distillery 2012/2024 in combination with meaty umami, honey and heather, or combined with creamy citrus and marine notes in the case of the Caol Ila 2011/2024.
