Special features: The Meikle Tòir 5 Years The Original represents the first smoky release from the renowned GlenAllachie Distillery. Under the guidance of industry veteran Billy Walker, peated Speyside Single Malt has been distilled annually for six weeks since 2018. The mainland peat from St. Fergus gives the whisky a sweeter smoke with oak notes. After five years of maturation in First-Fill Bourbon Barrels, American Virgin Oak Casks, and Rye Barrels, this Single Malt presents itself with a peat content of 35 ppm and an alcohol content of 50%.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A seductive bouquet of baking spices, burnt honey, and roasted coffee beans, accompanied by hazelnuts, smoked almonds, and butterscotch.
• Palate: A hint of sweet peat smoke combines with robust chocolate and heather honey, followed by cinnamon, ginger, and sugar smoked with oak wood.

Distillery/Bottler: The GlenAllachie Distillery, under the leadership of Billy Walker, is one of the few independently operated distilleries in Scotland. With over half a century of experience in the whisky industry, it places special emphasis on maturation in a variety of casks to create balanced Single Malts. All whiskies are bottled with age statements, at least 46% alcohol by volume, and without chill filtration.
