Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of vanilla pudding tart, lemon cake, and stewed fruits, accompanied by chamomile, cocoa, and roasted chestnuts.
- Palate: Fruity and intense with notes of spiced apples, vanilla pods, poached pears, and caramel cream, structured by tobacco and cinnamon spice.
- Finish: Nutty and warming with hints of praline, cappuccino, and elderflower, leaving a long impression of nougat and cocoa powder.
Distillery/Bottler: The Tomintoul Distillery, founded in 1964 in the picturesque Cairngorms National Park, is known for its smooth and balanced Speyside Single Malts. Under the leadership of Master Distiller Robert Fleming, who has been running the distillery for over 20 years, whiskies are produced that are appreciated for their accessibility and complexity.
