Special features: The Nikka Tailored is a masterfully composed blended whisky that reflects the craftsmanship of the Nikka blenders. It combines malt whiskies from the renowned Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries with grain whisky from unmalted grains, distilled in the Coffey Still. During maturation in American oak barrels and ex-sherry casks, it develops remarkable depth and complexity. The asymmetrical bottle design symbolizes the layers of tradition and heritage of the brand.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Soft and round with fruity notes of apple, apricot, and pear, accompanied by honeyed and chocolaty aromas.
• Palate: Creamy with pastry notes of vanilla and bundt cake, complemented by bittersweet nuances of dark chocolate, mandarin, and orange.
• Finish: Balanced with roasted aromas, vanilla, and bitter and fruity hints of mandarin and orange zest.

Distillery/Bottler: Nikka Whisky Distilling Co. Ltd. was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, a pioneer of Japanese whisky production. After returning from Scotland, he opened the Yoichi distillery on Hokkaido and later the Miyagikyo distillery on Honshu. Today, Nikka is part of the Asahi Group and represents the synthesis of Scottish tradition and Japanese innovation.
