Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 44.5% | Chill filtration: No | Colouring: No

Special Features:

The Triple Cask Finish puts cask selection centre stage: Murray McDavid uses Port, Marsala and Four-Grain casks for the finishing period, bringing the influences of all three cask types together in this bottling.

This unpeated Speyside single malt is bottled at 44.5% in a 0.7-litre bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is spicy, combining citrus fruit with a fresh assortment of nuts and creamy vanilla.
• Palate: On the palate, sweet melon, peach and creamy malt meet sweet spices and creamy caramel.
• Finish: The finish remains lively, keeping fruit and the character of the oak casks in balance.

Distillery/Bottler:

Auchroisk began production in 1974 in Mulben, Speyside. The distillery was built in the early 1970s primarily to supply the J&B blended Scotch brand, while standalone single malt bottlings remained comparatively rare. The whisky in this bottling comes from Auchroisk, while Murray McDavid is responsible for the cask finishing and independent bottling.

Murray McDavid was founded in 1994 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Gordon Wright. Working with wine casks and other distinctive cask types has been part of the independent bottler’s approach from the outset. It is now based at the former Coleburn Distillery in Speyside. Cask Craft focuses on single malts finished in casks that include Sherry, Port, Bourbon, Madeira and wine casks.
