Special features: This limited release combines the Scottish distilling art of the Edradour Distillery with the South Tyrolean wine tradition of the St. Michael Eppan winery. Distilled in May 2014 and bottled in June 2025, this 11-year-old single malt matured in first-fill Lagrein red wine casks that previously housed fine Lagrein from the winery. With only 1,710 bottles filled, this whisky is a rare collector's item.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Rich aromas of black cherries, plum compote, and violets, accompanied by leather, cloves, and toasted oak.
• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with layers of ripe dark fruits, black currant, and mocha, balanced by earthy spices, peppercorns, and the tannins of the red wine.
• Finish: Long and warming, leaving impressions of dried fruits, oak spice, and a hint of dark chocolate.

Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is one of the smallest traditional distilleries in Scotland and is known for its artisanal production and limited cask bottlings. It is beautifully located in the Scottish Highlands near Pitlochry and produces only a limited amount of whisky each year, making its releases particularly sought after.
