Special Features:

This bottling centres on 17 years of maturation in a single cask. Distilled in April 2009, the Highland single malt matured in a single refill barrel. Master of Malt bottled the whisky in April 2026 at 51.1%, with the cask yielding 369 bottles.

The whisky has a rich, oily character that brings together stone fruit, toasted nuts and spicy oak. It is bottled without added colour and without chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines robust oak, juicy peach and waxy citrus peel with vanilla and hazelnut cream, prune and buttery malt.
• Palate: The whisky feels oily and mouth-filling on the palate. Soft stone fruit meets the warmth of peppercorns, juicy barley notes, toasted oak and grippy wood spices.
• Finish: Apricot and vanilla linger in the finish, accompanied by toasted almond, candied prune and delicate hints of ginger and nutmeg.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glen Garioch produced this single malt in Oldmeldrum, near Aberdeen. The distillery gives 1797 as its official founding year. It was established by the Manson brothers, who came from a farming family, and the original operation on the edge of the old market town also included a brewery.

Master of Malt selected the single cask and bottled the whisky for its own independent collection. This range comprises limited, individually selected bottlings released without added colour or chill filtration.
