This Glen Grant was distilled in 1967 and matured for 57 years in refill sherry hogshead 5571. Gordon & MacPhail bottled the whisky in 2024 at 48.5%. Limited to 64 bottles, it retains its natural colour and is non-chill-filtered.

The bottling belongs to The Dram Takers Collection. Celtic motifs inspired by the illuminated artwork of the Book of Kells define the label, while a black premium box completes the presentation.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, bright apple and lively citrus fruit combine with soft vanilla and subtle oak spice.
• Palate: On the palate, delicate notes of dark chocolate mingle with orchard fruit and fine citrus nuances.
• Finish: Aniseed spice and mature oak come together in the long-lasting, dry finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glen Grant Distillery is located in Rothes in Speyside. Tall, slender stills and water-cooled purifiers shape its distillation process; the distillery describes the resulting new make spirit as light and floral.

Gordon & MacPhail began in 1895 as a grocery, wine and spirits merchant in Speyside. John and George Urquhart developed the house’s long-standing practice of carefully pairing spirits with oak casks and often allowing them to mature for decades. For this edition, Gordon & MacPhail selected cask 5571 and bottled the Glen Grant matured within it for The Dram Takers Collection.
