This Glen Keith brings together 33 years of maturation in a Hogshead and bottling at undiluted cask strength. Distilled on 14 June 1993, the single malt matured in cask number 82793. Best Dram bottled the whisky on 17 July 2026 at 56.7%. The single cask yielded 201 bottles, each containing 0.7 litres, without chill filtration or added colouring.

Alongside ripe fruit and delicate floral notes, this bottling offers hints of apple pie, toasted almonds, fruit compote and vanilla cream. These sweet, pastry-like impressions contrast with a dry wood influence.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe apples and peaches meet delicate tulip blossoms on the nose. A trace of vanilla and restrained oak spice add further detail.
• Palate: The whisky feels silky and full-bodied on the palate. Ripe orchard fruits and sweet vanilla are accompanied by a balanced wood influence.
• Finish: Dry wood initially leads the long finish before creamy vanilla emerges. Light fruit notes linger subtly.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glen Keith is one of Chivas Brothers' Speyside distilleries. The company built it in 1957 as its first purpose-built distillery. Glen Keith also played a part in the company's technical development: in 1973, its stills were converted from coal firing to steam heating.

Best Dram is responsible for this single-cask bottling. The brand was established in 2014 through a partnership between Mike Müller and Michel Reick, known as the Whisky-Druide. Their approach includes personally tasting and selecting the casks they offer. Early on, the duo also worked with a Portuguese cooperage supplying sherry and port wine casks for special finishes. This Glen Keith, by contrast, centres on its long maturation in a Hogshead.
