Special Features:

This straight bourbon, aged for at least four years, combines three selected mash bills into a four-grain composition of 65% corn, 22% rye and a combined 13% wheat and barley. It matures in new American oak with Char #4 staves and Char #2 heads. Each Small Batch marries whiskeys from no more than 135 barrels.

The profile combines jammy ripe fruit and walnut with honeyed sweetness, black tea, dried fruit, toasted grain and honeysuckle. Warm rye spice adds definition, while fresh oak shapes the lingering finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals baked banana bread, jammy ripe fruit, peach, walnut and orange-blossom honey, accompanied by cinnamon, toasted oak and a subtle hint of smoke.
• Palate: Baked banana, vanilla cream and stone fruit combine on the palate with rounded honeyed sweetness, black tea and dried fruit. Toasted grain, honeysuckle and warm rye spice add definition.
• Finish: The finish is smooth, warming and lingering, with caramel, oak and a delicate cinnamon note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Distillation and maturation take place at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on the present-day site of Ross & Squibb Distillery. A copper column still and pot doubler are used for distillation.

The distillery traces its history to Rossville Distillery, founded by George Ross in 1847, and was acquired by MGP in 2011. Brother's Bond founders Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley select the whiskeys for the final marriage. Brother's Bond Distilling Company manages the brand and bottles the whiskey.
