Selected casks from Bulleit's bourbon production are set aside for longer maturation to create Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year Old. The whiskey spends a total of ten years in charred American white oak. This additional time in cask deepens its oak and caramel character while preserving the rye-forward recipe and its characteristic spice.

This bottling combines vanilla and dried fruit with bold oak, caramel and spices. Toasted oak adds to the aromatic profile, while the long finish brings a smoky accent. The bourbon is bottled at 45.6% in bottles containing 0.7 litres.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose offers bold oak, including toasted wood notes, alongside vanilla, caramel and rye-led spice. Subtle citrus, cherry, butterscotch and pepper notes complement these main aromas.
• Palate: The bourbon feels smooth on the palate but opens with bold wood and spice notes. Cherry, vanilla and leather join caramel and dried fruit.
• Finish: The finish is long, warm and smoky. Cayenne pepper adds a spicy accent as vanilla, wood and spices linger. An ashy impression leaves the palate drier.

Distillery/Bottler:

Bulleit Distilling Co is responsible for this ten-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon bottling; Diageo owns the brand. Selected bourbon casks are set aside for this longer-matured version, retaining the rye-forward base recipe.

The modern Bulleit brand was founded in 1987. Its distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky, opened in 2017. Protecting natural habitats, conserving water and sourcing local ingredients were important considerations in planning this modern production site. Since 2019, the on-site visitor centre has offered insights into its technical operations and approach to sustainability.
