Special Features:

This Evan Williams Single Barrel comes from one selected barrel rather than a blend of several barrels. Its mash contains corn, rye and malted barley. Distilled in 2016, the whiskey spent eight years in a new American white oak barrel before being bottled in 2025 at 43.3%. Bottles in the Vintage series display the year the barrel was filled, the bottling year and the barrel number.

The bottling brings together sweet fudge and vanilla notes with fruit, spicy oak and an espresso finish. It contains no added colouring. The bottle holds 0.7 litres and comes without gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, creamy fudge and spicy oak meet peach and apple, accompanied by a subtle note of pepper.
• Palate: On the palate, soft vanilla and toasted hazelnuts mingle with sweet apricot, bitter grapefruit, orange zest and a subtle note of allspice.
• Finish: The long finish brings pronounced espresso notes, a delicate echo of fudge and hints of tonka bean.

Distillery/Bottler:

Evan Williams takes its name from the whiskey distiller who founded Kentucky’s first commercial distillery on the Ohio River in 1783. Today, Heaven Hill makes the brand’s bourbon at Bernheim Distillery.

Heaven Hill filled its first barrel in Bardstown in 1935. At Bernheim Distillery, Master Distiller Conor O'Driscoll oversees the distillation, maturation and selection of its bourbons. For the Single Barrel series, the distillers choose individual barrels that meet the specifications for this bottling.
