Special Features:

The McLaren Limited Edition 2025 pairs the unchanged Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey with a specially designed bottle and folding carton. The bottle contains 0.7 litres of whiskey at 43% alcohol, above the 40% strength of the standard bottling.

Corn, rye and malted barley form the grain base. After two distillations, the whiskey passes through sugar maple charcoal before maturing in new, charred American white oak barrels. Vanilla, caramel and wood shape the soft, full-bodied Old No. 7, complemented by a light fruit note. This edition also brings out dry, nutty and spicy impressions.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose offers pineapple ice cream, vanilla and resinous wood notes, with a slight hint of cough syrup.
• Palate: The whiskey is rather dry and nutty on the palate: peanut shells give way to toffee and liquorice.
• Finish: The finish grows fuller and drier; brown sugar and spices are followed by a note of oak.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Jack Daniel Distillery makes Old No. 7 in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Jack Daniel registered the distillery in 1866. It uses iron-free water from Cave Spring for the whiskey and makes the sugar maple charcoal used to mellow it on site. The distillery and the Jack Daniel's brand have belonged to Brown-Forman since 1956. McLaren contributed to the design of this edition.
