Distillery/Bottler:

The Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg traces its history to the 1830s and was registered by Jack Daniel in 1866. It is regarded as the first registered distillery in the United States and has belonged to Brown-Forman since 1956.

For Old No.7, the distillery uses corn, rye and malted barley together with iron-free water from its limestone cave spring. It distils the whiskey twice and then mellows it through sugar maple charcoal. The whiskey subsequently matures in new charred white oak barrels and is bottled by the Jack Daniel Distillery.
