Hunter & Scott is an American bourbon blend introduced by Reservoir in 2017. The distillery’s own separately distilled grain whiskeys from Virginia are blended with selected whiskeys from Kentucky and Indiana. These sourced components complement and accentuate the character of Reservoir’s regional spirits.

At 42%, this bottling combines sweet notes of vanilla, caramel and butterscotch with tea, stone fruit and tobacco. Candied cinnamon and burnt sugar add to the profile, while rye spice meets lingering wheat notes in the finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Vanilla emerges on the nose, accompanied by hints of tea, stone fruit and tobacco.
• Palate: Candied cinnamon, caramel, burnt sugar and butterscotch come together on the palate.

Reservoir Distillery produces the Virginia components and combines them with selected Kentucky and Indiana whiskeys to create the Hunter & Scott blend. Each of its own core bottlings is made from a single grain: wheat, corn or rye. These separate grain whiskeys also provide the foundation for its blending work.
