The blended malt Scotch whisky combines the best single malts from the renowned Speyside distilleries Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Kininvie. The name "Monkey Shoulder" honors the workers of the distilleries who often suffered from a shoulder injury, colloquially known as "monkey shoulder," due to the repeated turning of the malted barley on the malting floors.
