Special Features:
The 2026 gift edition pairs Glenfiddich's twelve-year-old single malt with a tumbler. Gold-coloured illustrations of distillery buildings, trees and stags decorate the dark green gift box. It contains a bottle with 0.7 litres of whisky at 40% alcohol.
The whisky matures for at least twelve years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The matured whiskies are then married in large oak vessels known as marrying tuns. This additional step brings the different cask influences together and rounds out the sweet, fruity character.
Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler:
Glenfiddich is located in Dufftown in Scotland's Speyside region. William Grant began building the distillery in 1886 with the help of his nine children. Spirit first flowed from the stills on Christmas Day 1887. The name Glenfiddich means Valley of the Deer.
Water from the Robbie Dhu spring played an important part in the original choice of location. William Grant & Sons, the company Grant founded, remains wholly family-owned. William Grant & Sons Ltd. distils and bottles the whisky for this gift edition at the Glenfiddich Distillery.
